Community Participation > Local Empowerment > Sustainable Development
Community Partnership Centers (CPCs) serve as organizational entities through which local stakeholders empower themselves to initiate and oversee their own development strategies. CPCs offers a framework for outside groups to coordinate with a community to ensure that their involvement in the community, first and foremost, serves local stakeholder objectives and is integrally tied to community priorities.
|
CPCs offers community programs designed to respond to locally assessed community priority needs, including in the areas of social enrichment, economic empowerment, risk mitigation, and cultural enhancement, among others. CPCs facilitate local development-related community participation and educational activities that promote and enhance the general welfare of the population.
